- Chasing payments or handling arrears and collections.
- Carrying the credit risk of patient non-payment.
- Dealing with lending regulation, FCA reporting, or compliance obligations relating to the credit product.

What happens if a patient misses a payment?
Your clinic is not asked to chase payments or manage collections. Medicred manages all missed payments and collections directly with the patient.

Medicred provides approved wording, promotional material, and guidance to ensure your team introduces finance clearly, confidently, and in a compliant manner.
Do we need to explain the loan terms to the patient in detail?
No. Your role is to make patients aware of the finance option. Medicred explains all loan terms, payment structures, and agreements directly to the patient.
