Financial Information and Clinic Fees

Financial Information and Clinic Fees #

  • What does Medicred cost the clinic?

Medicred charges your clinic a fixed percentage merchant fee for each patient loan. This fee is a cost to the clinic, not to the patient, and is applied by deducting the agreed percentage from the amount we transfer to your clinic. The patient receives the full loan amount and pays no fees or charges as part of their credit agreement.

  • Do patients pay interest?

No. All loan options offered through your clinic are completely interest-free, and patients pay no fees or charges as part of their credit agreement.

  • Do we receive the full treatment cost?

Your clinic receives the full treatment amount before the treatment begins. Medicred’s merchant fee is deducted beforehand.

  • Are lower fees available for clinics with high loan volumes?

Yes. Clinics that process a high number of loans may qualify for reduced, volume-based pricing.

  • When are the funds released to our clinic?

Funds are transferred to your clinic once the patient’s loan has been fully approved and all required checks are completed. This typically occurs before the treatment start date, provided the patient has successfully completed the application process and met all loan eligibility requirements.
